This is where it all started. The 2012 Rose was my first wine that I had full and complete control over. It was my experiment, and it was warmly embraced by all who had it.
Rose takes a serious amount of time and love to coerce something beautiful out if. It naturally has a low amount of nutrients and due to the highly challenging fermentation to make a great rose it has gotten a tried and true receipt for production. While certain aspects will never change, it will never be more than 20 cases and it will be a saignee of my favorite fruit from the vintage. I am beyond intrigued with the intricacies of producing something unique and truly special - push the limits to find the pinnacle of excellence.
Due to the experimental nature of this wine, it is not released every vintage. Like all truly great things it is fickle and rare. A treasure to be sure not to miss.
